Making Community Connections
Community Education is the link between the community and the school district. Community Education opens the school district doors for the community to take advantage of. The public is invited to hold meetings, concerts, practices, etc. in district facilities, and Community Education helps make that happen.

| Getting Involved Our advisory council provides an opportunity for community members to have a voice for their community. The council meets once a month on the third Tuesday of the month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Supper is always provided at advisory council meetings. People can also become involved with Community Education by teaching a class. If you have a talent or hobby that you would like to share with others, you could become a community education instructor. Instructors have the freedom and the creativity to teach a topic how they want to teach it. Community Education will take registrations, advertise the class, reserve space for the class, and even pay instructors for their time!
